The Bible contains a message of hope for the hopeless, a message of peace and rest for the weary, and a message of deliverance from bondage.  That message is commonly referred to as "the gospel".

That is the only message that we preach.

The message is referred to as "the gospel of God" (Romans 1:1, 15:16) because it came directly from the Creator of humanity.

​

The message is also called "the gospel of Jesus Christ" (Mark 1:1) because it presents Jesus Christ as the only deliverer from the real problem every person has - SIN!

​

Thankfully the message is also called "the gospel of our salvation" (Ephesians 1:13) because through this message millions of lives have been changed forever, and millions of people are able to die with the absolute certainty that their sins are completely forgiven, they have peace with God, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Consider these two verses from the Bible:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

​

"This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief." 1 Timothy 1:15
